OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: Of all the bands to come out of the 1970s Los Angeles music scene, The Runaways are by far the most uniquely fascinating. This is partially due to their music but more so to the fact that they were teenage girls whose wild and reckless lifestyle was the stuff of legend. Focusing on the duo of guitarist/vocalist Joan Jett and lead vocalist Cherie Currie as they navigate a rocky road of touring and record-label woes, the film chronicles the band’s formation as well as their meteoric rise under the malevolent eye of an abusive manager.
THE RUNAWAYS plays at the following times: 6:30 PM Sun, Jan 24 Eccles Theatre 8:30 AM Mon, Jan 25 Library Center Theatre 9:00 PM Sat, Jan 30 Temple Theatre

Justin Long and Ashley Greene have teemed up to promote Teens for Jeans. Teens for Jeans is a campaign where you bring in a pair of lightly worn Jeans to your local Aeropostale store and they will donate it to a local youth shelter. In return for donating jeans you can enter to win a pair of signed jeans by a few celebrities including Dakota!
The solution, however, is easy, thanks to Teens for Jeans and Aeropostale. Simply bring in a pair of gently worn jeans to any Aeropostale store between January 19 and February 14, and Aeropostale and DoSomething.org will make sure that they are donated to one of 600 local youth shelters that have been selected as partners for the campaign. In return for donations, Aeropostale will give a 25 percent discount on a new denim purchase. Donors can also enter to win autographed jeans from celebrities like Shia LaBeouf, Chris Pine, Penn Badgley, Dakota Fanning and Taylor Swift.
Other major celebrities to experience Bellaboo include Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, Emma Roberts and Dakota Fanning, to name a few.
Bellaboo Managing Director Snezna Kerekovic said: “The response from these incredibly talented teen influencers has been amazing. Obviously tweens and teens look up to their fave celebs and take note of their beauty secrets.
”We are very selective about the celebrities we choose to approach. First and foremost, they have to be deemed positve role models – that is something that we, as a brand, are passionate about. “We do a lot of work to promote positive role models that young girls can look to for inspiration. Our first round of celebrity fans certainly hit the mark in terms of being girls we can alll look to for inspiration around achieving dreams and being naturally beautiful!.” .

From child star to vicious bloodsucker -- Dakota Fanning has transformed into the baddest newbie in "New Moon" and she loved every second of it.

"Extra" caught up with the 15-year-old while hosted the Style Savvy for DS or DSi launch party with Rachel Zoe in L.A. Enter to win Style Savvy on DS! The game releases Nov. 2.
Fanning wore red contacts and white powder in the film. "I thought I was pale before I did the movie, but I realized that I'm not!" Dakota jokes.
Like Dakota, vampire Robert Pattinson kept his skin fair for the shooting of the movie -- and tells "Extra" he thinks it's funny that his pale disposition, once considered sickly, makes girls swoon. "It's funny. People were like, 'He looks like a junkie.' And now, 'Oh, he's so good looking!'"
